It also features an outstanding collection of Caldecott and Newbery Medal award-winning books. The Children’s collection also includes LeapPads and LeapPad books to check out.The Children’s Early Childhood Education Center is provided through the generosity of the Downtown Kiwanis Club. This area has hands-on manipulatives, puzzles and toys to stimulate and enhance the learning process for preschool children five years old and under. Here in this inviting, child-proof space, youngsters will find books, magazines, and furniture designed just for them. Equally important, they’ll find smiling faces and people who want their visit to the library to be a positive experience.  The Friends of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is a non-profit organization of people working together to support our library.  People who love books and learning, and love spending time with others who have similar passions
